Done button not working in EditText landscape mode?

Done button not working in EditText landscape mode?

I have an edit text in my application. When I am in landscape mode and
click on the edit text, this happens: http://imgur.com/C0Yg0de
The text writing part takes up the screen. The problem is the done button
on that screen is not working to back to the edit text. I can press the
back button on the phone and go to the Edit Text and it will have the
typed text but it is annoying and I would prefer if my users could just
press done and exit the typing part. How can I do this? Is there a way to
make it not appear at all?
